Podcasts Export · for Mac

Your podcasts, off your Mac
and onto anything.

Turn the episodes you have already downloaded in Apple Podcasts into ordinary audio files — for the car, an old MP3 player, a phone that is not an iPhone, or a folder you actually control.

$3.99 · one-off · requires macOS 10.13 or later

Choose

Take the episodes you want, not the whole library.

Shows on the left, their episodes on the right. Tick what you need, search within a show to find one episode among hundreds, and leave the rest behind.

  • Select all, none, or only what you have not exported yet
  • Your selection is remembered between launches

Format

Keep the original file, or convert it.

Copying the original is fastest and loses nothing. When a device insists on a particular format, convert to MP3 or AAC at the bitrate you choose — and tell the app never to re-encode something that is already in that format.

  • Name files from the title, show, host or number
  • Titles and artwork travel with the file

Playlists

Playlists that old players understand.

Write an .m3u alongside the audio so a car stereo or media player runs the episodes in order. Line endings, text encoding and Windows-style paths are all adjustable for the stubborn ones.

Every time after the first

It remembers what you already have.

Podcasts Export keeps a record of what it has exported for each show. Shows with episodes released since your last export are flagged with a count, so the answer to “what is new?” is on screen before you click anything.

  • Skip everything already exported, in one setting
  • Files already at the destination are left alone

Take your podcasts with you.

Works with episodes already downloaded in Apple Podcasts. Streaming-only and copy-protected episodes cannot be exported — the app tells you which, up front.
