DRM protected songs
If you see this message then your playlist have some DRM protected songs.
DRM protected songs are usually songs that you have add to your library from subscription based music services like “Apple Music“ audio streaming service.
Unfortunately, you cannot export this kind of songs because the files are locked files by the service provider.
With Export for iTunes you can only export purchased songs or songs that you have import yourself to music library (like CD ripped songs).
Why won't iTunes let you export songs on Apple Music to MP3 files?
Apple Music, is a streaming service that allows you to access millions of songs on demand. When you subscribe to Apple Music, you can listen to any song from the service's vast library, but you don't actually own the songs.
Because Apple Music is a subscription-based service, the songs you stream are protected by digital rights management (DRM) technology. This technology is designed to prevent users from making unauthorized copies of the music, which is why you can't simply export songs to MP3 files or any other format.
However, Apple Music does offer an option to download songs for offline listening. These downloaded songs are still protected by DRM, but they can be played within the Apple Music app without an internet connection.
If you want to own a particular song and be able to export it to an MP3 file, you would need to purchase the song from the iTunes Store. Once you buy a song from the iTunes Store, it's yours to keep, and you can export it to any format you like, including MP3.
